A cyclist appeared to ruffle a goose's feathers while he was riding along a river canal - after the bird flew at his head and sent him toppling off his bike.
The dicey moment was captioned by a Go-Pro the cyclist was wearing on his head, with the 30-second video then shared on Reddit.
Alongside the clip, which the cyclist shared in the r/CasualUK subreddit, was a caption which read: 'Goose chose violence.'
It continued: 'Riding to work along my usual route this morning and this bl**** goose decides today is the day it's having me off. And it did.'
In the footage, the cyclist, from Stoke-on-Trent, can be seen peacefully riding to work along an eight-mile route on a pathway next to a river canal.

The man appeared to slow down as he was approaching a single duck and a pair of geese, which had emerged from the riverbank.
As he attempted to pass the birds, one of the geese threw itself at the man's head, sending the cyclist tumbling off his bike and onto the ground.
The confused commuter appeared to lie on the ground for a moment, with the riled bird still in view flapping its wings.
After cautiously getting back onto his bike, the man swiftly cycled away to safety along the river canal.
The video has amassed more than 280 likes and 56 comments from bemused viewers, who teased the cyclist over the unexpected attack.
One wrote: 'B***** h**l was genuinely not expecting that, I thought you were going to swerve to avoid that first duck.'
Another joked: 'You didn't assert you dominance or defend yourself. You just ran away,' while a third added: 'At least it didn't have you straight into the canal!'
Meanwhile another Reddit user added: 'To be fair to the honker some unknown entity was barrelling towards them haha - they are proper b
